Send the data plate photo anyway. We have bought machines from manufacturers that stopped existing decades ago. An orphaned make prices lower because a second buyer has to hunt for parts, but the mast, hydraulics, drive components, counterweight, and steel are all still worth money.

What genuinely matters far more than the badge: hour meter reading, whether it runs and lifts, and the condition of the mast and carriage.
